The Pimped Out Boys is a Hip Hop crew established in 2007, consisting of
three young, lyrical but relevant rappers with various other talents and
skills such as production, sound engineering, composing etc. The
Johannesburg based rappers are up and coming but could be regarded as
pioneers in the game, due to their, fresh, crisp and clear outlook and
attitudes and views regarding music and the game on the whole. Soon to
release their first EP at the end of February 2011, they are surely about to
hit the South African music industry and unfold 4 years of perfectionist
work onto the red carpet nationally and possibly even internationally. With
tracks ready to be play listed on radio stations such as Yfm and a music
video that will be prepared for our hit single soon to be announced, Pimped
Out Boys are an entertainment group that is surely going to make successful
impact in due time. It’s really more than just another hip hop crew, it’s a
brotherhood, with many other member of the brotherhood consisting of skilled
artist in various parts of the music industry, from writers, producers,
sound engineers, DJ’s it’s this team that keeps us strong, humble and always
on top of the game and new trends. Their aim is to really produce quality
soundtracks, not just the bubblegum rap that is so common today, u don’t
want to sit there thinking a couple years down the line, “damn my track was
relevant but it lacks realness in all respects!”. Through the years even as
they were in the backstage of the industry per say, they have learned so
much that their propulsion in this year and the type of joints about to
drop, should render every single year well spent.
